While working as a freelance designer, I was helping a friend start a neighborhood restaurant and coffee shop. I started as front of house and then trained as a line cook, cooking LA-style Korean-Mexican fusion. I also helped with recipe development, R&D, and marketing design for the restaurant's summer menu launch.
