Expanding a family business into a venture-scale operation
I was Bloomscape's UX Design Lead, as well as their first in-house technical hire. Bloomscape was originally a family business, and our goal was to expand their existing operation into a venture-scale business.
Plant Life is the name of Bloomscape's full-funnel marketing strategy for direct-to-consumer plant sales. The project focuses on showcasing Bloomscape's horticultural expertise while delivering an excellent direct-to-consumer experience. I applied UX design techniques and e-commerce best practices to bring the vision to life. In addition to supporting product sales, I designed resources that helped new plant parents start their very own Plant Life with Bloomscape.

Bloomscape created a product engineering team to continue projects like Plant Life
Insights from Plant Life led to the decision to acquire a plant care app called Vera
